Crop Swaps
Regular meet-ups to swap your excess garden produce and food-related items.
Regular Markets
- NEW: Geeveston Market – first and third Saturday – 10am – 2pm at the Community Hall, Brady Street.
- Cygnet Market – usually first and third Sunday, 10am – 2pm at Cygnet Town Hall.
- Dover Market – third Sunday of the month from 10am – 1pm at Southgate Shopping Centre.
- Franklin Market – fourth Sunday of the month, 10am – 2pm at the Franklin Palais.
- Judbury Market – second Sunday of the month from September to May, 10am – 2pm at Calvert Park.

What Is This?
Got a question about the Huon Valley? This is where you find some answers.
This is for residents, mostly, or maybe visitors, because we know you’re going to fall in love with the place and become residents soon enough. The Facebook group Huon Valley Community is the source of much of this information, and you can learn more about the region by joining it. This site will be updated every Sunday evening with any suggested edits and additions posted on the Facebook group or emailed to info@huonvalley.net.
Garage Sales
Garage and lawn sales can now be advertised on Huon Valley – Garage and Lawn Sales. Go there to find out about sales and also advertise them. The clever bit is: sellers are required to delete their post after their sale is over, so if you see something there you know it’s fresh news!
